I don't think that it was a pointless thread and it was started by the mods and not by Gian and I. I gave several examples supporting my point of view. What is really pointless is the vast amout of postings that were either jabs, stupid attempts at humor and just pointless committs.

Well, when you figure out what could be done with a Dive Computer/Bottom Timer to prevent or resolve an emergency that dive or that day let us know.

It was dispensable because the dive was designed around not having one.

I do not believe you. It's going to be tough to find something easier to poke holes in than your stories but if they pop up I will.

In my wildest imagination as your imaginary writer of this imaginary book about this imaginary cave - I cannot find any single such "what if" scenario or emergency...
