Bikes are free to use from what I've heard.

Forgot to mention that there is a Pasta Station at dinner when we stay & it's very popular. (not sure if it's a high season thing though). You pick what you want cooked & it's done while you wait. I can't eat anything cheesy so pasta & Italian are not something I eat very often so I haven't tried it.

@cicopo Thanks for the pictures... looking at those I can see this place is in he "good" catagory... looks like the buffets have some variety and I'm sure I will find something I like. you pictures are worth a 1000 words as they say. thanks for posting. especially the ones from the buffet.

Bicycles? HC has bicycles available? Is this an included amenity or a rental addon?
Bicycles and locks were available at no additional charge when we were there a few years ago. You would have to confirm with Hotel Cozumel if they are still available. I did not see bikes specifically listed on their website but this picture is posted in their activities gallery. Best of luck

most dive ops pick up at most hotel/condo piers, there are a few exceptions.

Dive with Martin has always been an economy priced dive op. I'm not sure if they still do it, but they used to give a discount if you paid cash. They are a very good op. I THINK they only have 6-pack fast boats.

Blue Angel is reasonably priced, has both small fast boats and larger "cabin cruiser" type boats.

I believe both will pick up at Hotel Coz.

You can also get fajitas, tacos, guacamole made at the snack bar by the pool.
Honestly I could live on that alone.

We picked them up prn from the activities center. You can contact them through the website, that's how I got the reply from Sergio

does anyone know if you need to bring your own pad lock for the scuba lockers on the beach? or do they give you a key for that?

@scubadada I emailed them on the bikes. so awesome they have this option. I typically ride 25-40 miles so I could probably ride the entire island on one if I really wanted to. forget renting a car.... :D

anyone ever ride out to the lighthouse? That's definitely something i want to do. Looks like my Cammelback is coming with me on this trip. I should have some nice gopro footage of the ride when I come back if anyone is interested. waaahoo!

ok 18-19 miles from hotel cozumel to lighthouse. On an upright cruzing bike thats a bit much but I can reach the northern beaches 10 miles away for some snorkeling in the afternoon/evening. anyone know how the snorkeling is on the nothth side of the island?
