Genesis Resource Pro won't display log information (and alt screen looks odd)

I had the following problem with my Genesis ReactPro. My ReactPro computer showed the 24 dives I recently made, but would only transfer 4 dives (1, 2, 23, and 24) to my computer when I downloaded. I tried it on 3 separate computers, with identical results. I contacted Genesis by Email and was...

    Oceanic Customer Service Gone Downhill

I am not certain whether this post is relevant to the thread, and apologize if it isn't. Nevertheless, on the subject of customer service and dive equipment, I had the following experience with Genesis-Scuba. I called to get support for my ReactPro computer, which showed the 24 dives I...

    Bifocal mask

Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia (that's loss of close vision; not a religion). They are progressive, rather than bifocal. I think the maximum magnification is +2.50.

    g10 housing and strobe choices

Adjuster-jd: Have you come up with a decision? I just went diving with my Canon G10, WP-DC28, and Inon D2000 Type 3. Unfortunately, the synch cable broke in transit. The camera flash still triggered the strobe, however everything was over-exposed, especially with the G10 set to Underwater...

    Strobe advice

Love my D2000 Type 3, used with a Canon SD790 and now with a G10. Fiber optic cable broke, but the new Type 4 has a swivel at the point where mine broke, due to stress. Bought it from www.divervision.com at a good price. The suggestions on this site may be influenced by personal experience...

    Canon G10 housing dilemma

Have you (or anyone else on the forum) pushed the depth limit of the WP-DC28? I realize that anecdotal information is not scientific research, but I would be interested in knowing the tolerance for depth of the Canon housing. I took the WP-DC24 to about 138 feet without a problem. Last trip...

    Canon G10 housing dilemma

What a dilemma! It it wasn't for my yearly trip to the Blue Hole, I would go with the WP-28, which is 1/3 the price (or less), more compact, and almost as versatile (thanks for the 2-button f-stop trick). However, when it's just the DM and I, we sometimes go to 150-160 feet, which would...

    G10 + wp-dc28 + YS-110a

Forgive me if I am intruding in this chain, but I am a Newbie. I currently use a Canon SD790IS and Canon housing. I am considering upgrading to the G10, for more depth of field. My concern is shutter lag. Do you find that shutter lag is a problem with the G10 underwater? I can't justify...

    Crocs of Blackbird Caye

The croc is still there (6/30/2009) and quite a bit bigger than before (2006). At night, beginning around 8:00, it comes right up to the doc and raises its head out of the water. This happens only at night. There is no danger during the day, and nobody is foolish enough to go in the water at...

    www.divervision.com ??

I just purchased an Inon D2000 Type 3 strobe package. I was apprehensive about ordering from overseas, but Divervision was very responsive to my questions, both pre-purchase and after. I placed an order on July 10, 2008, and it arrived in Los Angeles July 12, 2008, as described, in original...
