what about figuring out a surface interval when planning a couple or three dives, do dive computers relate how long of a surface interval to wait when doing multiple dives in a day?

I learned today that the eRDP, which is yellow, is being replaced by the eRDPml, which is blue, by PADI. I was also informed that PADI is coming out with a new Nitrox manual and other manuals. So, I should wait to purchase any of the training manuals until December. Is this accurate?
