I was cleaning my Suunto Stinger today and opened up the black plastic ventilated cover on the side. I cleaned out the gunk on the edges and the metal disk. I also saw a white foamy substance on the hole left inside the watch. Anyone know what this is? Is it supposed to be there? Thanks

Anybody here dive without ditchable weight? I mean if you only use 6 lbs of weight and you get a backplate, should you really go with aluminum? Or in my scout, I can put 6 lbs in the trim pockets. Comments?
