My fellow divers, I don't know if this is the right place to post this but. I have an IDC Instructor Crew Pack from 2013 that I never had a chance to use. I thought I was going to be an instructor and teach, but then the military transferred me from Florida to Virginia Beach. I then had no use...
TELEMONSTER - New owners at Blue grotto and yes there is a training pool on-site with classrooms aswell. Price hasent changed and is STILL $40 to dive all-day
These are just a few of the NEWLY updated photos from the Blue Grotto Dive Resort in FL facebook page. Just think if this all happened...
I recently learned of this past weekend and was told that they are actually trying everything that can to to prevent the current owners from renewing the lease and are looking/wishing for someone to buy it and clean/fix it up into an actual dive resort.
Take the Blue Grotto in Williston, FL...
I'm a divemaster and recently just got into Solo Diving and am working on PADI's Self-relient diver side specialty. I have already purchased the redundant tank (19cf, 1st and second stage and a pony mount to the side of my main tank). I am currently stuck trying to decide on getting a 35" or 40"...
Hey Guys so the question is where do I return my Atomic B2 Reg for servicing? I originally bought the reg from Scubatoys.com. Do I send it into then and have them do the servicing or back to Atomic?
Thanks,
Ryan
Hey Guys here is a link to my recent post about the same thing, these are still shots though! Ryan

Hello I know there has been a little discussion on and about the new "flip-up backscatter magic-pro flip-filter" for the GoPro Dive-housing. So I'd post some before and after pic's for you guys and also what it looks like when it comes in the box. All the photos I took were at Blue Grotto in...
I agree with "DivemasterDennis" and "oly5050user." Whats the dive agency your using?...18 and then 20 students the next day, just doesnt sound right to begin with. Cutting corners, faulty equipment and not proper communication due to the number of students in the water. I'd say do a little...
What about the urge to burp?...lol every time I dive I have the urge to burp even at depth. I dont recall ever swallowing the air that I breathe but was curious if any other divers had experienced this..
I have my computer to go off at 700 psi to kinda give me a heads-up and I'm usually on the surface with about 450-500 psi... I however tested my upper limits and recently did a 62 min dive at 75ft. on an aluminum 80: EAX 34 and surfaced/ended with 190 psi. I would never advise anyone to suface...
I only dive with EMT shears... I did how ever recieve a dive knife as a gift but the thing is huge, like 8 inches long and to bad its only for left handed divers..
Just a few suggestions but, I totally agree with "diveprof" Check out Narcosis Dive Charters! I dive with them all the time and it's a blast. Here is a link:
Scuba Diving West Palm Beach Florida with Narcosis Dive Charters
Also they have suggestions for lodging on their website but everytime...
Hey you can also try/check out "Narcosis Dive Charters." They are AWESOME everytime I've done offshore diving in West Palm I've used them. The Captain is Van Blakeman. As with "ocdiver1" I'm only a frequent visitor, but I'm sure either Capt. Van or one of his DM's Bryan Clark and help you out...
Just make sure you have a dive flag with you...lol. The last time I dove the Blue Heron Bridge the sheriff's officer was giving out tickets to divers on the shore for not having dive flags. Was told its $75 for not diving with a flag. He was filling out a ticket for another diver and called me...
I'm a DMC in Jax, FL and was curious if anyone locally has dove in Lake Kingsley. I've not yet been in the lake myself and have been wanting to go. I frequently dive in the Florida Springs so I know that this time of year the water is cold. But as far as low vis. and obstructions is there any...
I'm in Florida and do alot of diving in the springs and off-shore and I have my Boat, Drift, Nav, Nitrox and Deep specialites....if you get a boat 9 times out of 10 you'd benefit from getting your drift diver at the same time.
When I first recieve my OW cert. this past summer. My instructor basically beat it into me (not literally) to keep your finger off the inflator on you BC and that its not an "elevator button." After doing your safety stop, you swim to the surface carefully watching your accent rate. As as you...
I dont think I would go more than a 5mm...I dont know what the water temps are down there where you at, but I'm up here in Jacksonville, FL and I dive in the Springs all the time out buy Gainsville and Dunnellon and the water temp is around 72*...Went diving with this chick frend of mine and she...
