Hi everyone,
I need to replace the neck seal on my DUI TLS350 drysuit. I used to live in the Netherlands and still don't know my ways around here in the US in terms of where to find the best suppliers, etc. I currently live in San Francisco, CA.
Does anyone know where / how could I buy...
I was wondering the same thing. I used to dive 3x a week in. The Netherlands because there were always many lakes nearby to train. Was hoping to find something easy to get to from San Francisco.
Fellow divers,
I have recently moved to the Bay Area and I'm now trying to find a good place where to service my equipment, namely regulators. I am booking a last minute trip to Hawaii and will need to get my equipment serviced. I use Aqualung Legend regs. Would any of you have good...
Hello fellow divers,
I am again looking into getting a UW housing for my Canon 350D (RebelXT). I want to use my EFS 10-22 and my EFS 60 Macro.
I would like to know your experience regarding two housings: The Hugyfot and Sea&Sea.
My main points of concern are:
- Use of TTL - can I use...
As mentioned before, buoyancy control will not change whether using one or the other.
I would suggest you take your time to think about your choice. It also depends on whether you would be willing to service (not a lot service required though) the BC yourself in the future. If you are...
To my knowledge Salvo, MetalSub and Greenforce are pretty good lamps. I heard Greenforce is very resistant. I personally have the Salvo 21/9 Ni and I must say it is a great lamp. Everyone who goes diving with me are swearing for one. The light is great and it is very resistant.
Hope it helps.
I would strongly recommend you the BP/W. Why? Many different reasons. The only disadvantage I see is that you need to screw / unscrew the bolts everytime you change the tank. Is that a problem? I dont think so.
Advantages (in my view):
- great for travelling (will take much less space than...
Hi. No. I checked at home my drysuit turning it side down and filling it with water and I couldnt find any leaks. Probably is only sweat. still figuring it out. :)
The Dives Saturday went pretty well. Thanks Laurens.
Cheers

I had some problems with finding the right fins for my drysuit. Dry, it looked like the Jetfins XL were to small but in the water they are good. I tried Turtles outside the water, they seemed fine and then when I got wet they were too big. Conclusion: Try in the water before you buy it.
Check...
Take a look a this thread. It has some info about advantages and disadvantages of Nitrox

The BCD is for sure very good and very well made.
The problem is that it is very heavy and bulky to transport for example. I knew it before buying it but in the end I regret it anyway. Also for diving with a drysuit it does not give me too much range of movement to reach the valves.
If I were you, I would go for a wing system. Is so much easier to carry around. And if you get an aluminum plate is quite light. It is streamlined and very simple to use.
I have a Seaquest Pro Unlimited which I think is very good but in the end of the day I regret having bought it. Did 2...
Yup. You just cannot feel in the pic the nice fresh temperature that was in the water... Still cannot understand how could you stand 2 dives in the nice cold water just with the wetsuit
Looking forward for the next dives.
Did you consider going with a BP/W system? I bought a normal BCD 8 months ago (Seaquest Pro Unlimited) and althought it is a great BCD, at some stage I decided to go further and bought a Halcyon Eclipse wing system. Much more streamlined and much more possibilities to evolve with it. Now I am...
That is a pitty. Dont understand that a country with so many difficulties, in the end is more expensive than other countries. When will that change?
Can you give me some names / internet sites of technical diving schools in the area of Lisbon? Which association do they normally follow? GUE...
