we stayed there last November... nice place, beautiful grounds, i was burning marriott points and very happy with the selection. it's a tad remote so you'll need a car to get around, but jeeping around st croix was half the fun IMO.

Just got back from St. Croix using Seaborne as my SJU-STX link... worked pretty well, saab turbo prop, comfortable enough. $25 per bag up to 50lbs, add that to a $120ish round trip and not a terrible deal.

just seeing if there's any chance of reviving this... we're new to clear lake and would love to dive it sometime (mid-week, slightly off season maybe). does anybody know of anyone who still dives that lake?

just curious... when you did dive the north side was it a shore dive or does cane bay divers do those as boat dives? thanks.

could be, i never actually walked it actually ;) it 'looked' longer than that but i really wouldn't know. i liked being right by old stone, bistro, etc and then stumbling 'up' the hill 50 yards from the ruins or JRs... that said Ft Young is a bit pricier.

I was there in June... I didn't eat there but I went in for a drink and I could've sworn they were serving food.

I've seen mixed reviews on Cactus Juice and talking to some of the ex-pats down there it seems it works very well for some and not so well for others. I was there in June and that's all i used... even at night and it worked like a charm.
