Be careful with Trustfire, or anything with *fire in the name. They're more often than not cheap cells with overstated power ratings. I bought a set that claimed 4000mah that turned out to be 900mah. Here's a list of tested 26650s 26650 Batteries | BudgetLightForum.com. I bought a pair of 5000mah Trustfires that are more like 4000mah, which are actually higher than some other brands, and a pair from one of the guys on BLF that makes his own using Panasonic cells which are usually the best to get.

Starting at about 1:20 you can see the effet of added D32VR video lights in the afternoon daylight and also in one clip see a little flicker when the left light went into 750L. In one clip you can see a shadow produced by the light in daylight

The lights provided just the effectiveness I'm looking for. Did you have a red filter on while the lights were in use because the color balance was quite good at all times?
I didn't catch the part with flickering. If its anything like my D11V's the low power flicker can be extremely subtle.

I watched three times and could not see the flicker also. Looked like a great dive.

Look on the left bottom of the clip starting at ~2:00 where the diver is hand holding a GoPro, gets more pronounced as you move closer - must have editied out most of the closer shots, wish I could have included more of the miniature anemone and anemone fish but flicker was evident. Seems you do get good light at 750 and the flicker only becomes a problem close up.

No Filters but production color balance

Let's take that to a new discussion and keep this thread for the lights

Do any of you guys (D32VR owners) have a lux meter? I'd love to know the brightness (in lux) measured in a dark room at 1m distance. I am trying to decide between a pair of these, or Hog Morph 1000 with two video heads. A friend of mine has a Hog and that measured at 580 lux at 1m distance. Nice uniform pattern. It's only 72 degree beam though. So I'd love to know how it compares with Archons D32VR.

For daylight use I would suggest one of each, the hog morph 1000 as a "Punch" light for distance and the D32VR for wide angle. I have used that combo for daytime and it works well You can see the "center "punch" effect here

Dauntless, very nice work and yes you really can see the punch even in daylight. Care to share a night video with us?

Haven't tried the "punch" thing at night but look back at Page 10 on this thread for night video with dual D32VRs. Here's something, not quite night but looking into structure during the day with a very narrow beam "punching" if you will in addition to a medium beam. More like a pointer but was done before wide beam lights like D32VR were available.

Nice dive but the lights are not what I am looking for. Too pin pointed and easy to see the two different lights without overlaping.
