All of Nakhon Ratchasima has been declared a disaster area as cold weather now prevails in all of the northeastern gateway province's 32 districts.

Provincial governor Chuan Sirinantporn said on Tuesday he had declared the whole province a disaster zone. The temperature had continued to drop since New Year.

The lowest temperature in the province this morning was 18 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.
