It shouldn’t be an issue for AOW at all, can’t imagine why it would be. When I did Rescue I did run it by my instructor in advance since I still have a regular BCD as well, she actually encouraged me to wear the BP/W as it would be good to teach the others in the class how to get someone out of one should they ever need to.
