Apeks: Reversal of hoses

I'm thinking of swapping the hoses on my first stage Apeks 200. So that I can plug the 1/2" port and use standard size hoses for all hoses.

Doing this I figure that I will have to turn the first stage upside down when attaching to the tank.

Any one done this before? Any issues I should be aware of?

There's nothing in the Apeks first stage that is gravity-dependant. Plug away!

Your HP hose might route a bit funny though - won't it be pointing up? My regs are in transit so I can't check.

they maybe slightly angled up but I don;t think it will be that much ... will have a look on Saturday when I go to the dive shop to get the bungie's added to my force fins.
