Legend without doubt. Solid design, built to last.
Apex is a very good brand but the 'Flight' is a finicky reg and to be avoided IMO. Recently there has been various complaints about freeflow.

Aqualung Mikron if you want a ligtweight reg with very good performance. Love mine. Have seen a review that rates it as excellent to 50 metres

Legend. Solid, reliable, popular reg that just about any dive shop can work on if repairs/service are needed.

Just get yourself a Legend, which is one of the best regulators you can buy.
There is a thread in the Manufacturer Forum of Apeks http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/apeks/406448-apeks-flight-free-flow.html
It is on since more than one year and I wrote there that the Flight is a Diva. When it works it breathes very well, but it has up to now still too many problems with free flow in the 2nd stage.

Of the two mentioned, I would definitely choose the Legend. But, if you have to have a new reg with the Apeks badge, any of the XTX series would be preferable to the Flight.
