Curacao definitely :)

(Although we would say that, wouldn't we?)

Curacao has over 40 shore dive sites, plus additional boat-dive only sites, plus loads to do topside. We loved the shore diving so much here, we set up our own company :)

Please don't hesitate to PM me if you'd like info about diving in Curacao or check out our website; there's HEAPS of info on there:

Happy planning :)

Figuring your issue with Bonaire will probably be similar to Curacao or Cayman (both nice suggestions along with Aruba) that being flying across most of the US to get to the Caribbean, I would follow up the earlier recommendations to Hawaii or Maui. Both easily accessable from Seattle/Tacoma.

We have done Maui all over shore diving (with the exception of Molokini which requires a boat). No soft corals, but lots of fish, critters and some pelagics, good visibility. In winter be prepared for high surf and wind changes that can blow out some dive sites.

We will be on the Big Island in July and plan to do the Manta night dive.
