Don Burke:
I'm going to give it shot, so any input will be appreciated.
Use something other than MS Word to create it.

I saw Sea Dive and Cycle already listed for Southern Maryland (www.seadiveandcycle.com) and they are a great shop with very knowledgable staff out of Solomons, Maryland. Another Southern Maryland site is www.diverssource.com out of Dunkirk, Maryland. Again a very good operation.

I did my OW with Aquaventures - I'd give them a thumbs up.
Location is:
9731 York Road
Cockeysville, MD 21030
SSI

I'd also second recommendation for Columbia Scuba - My wife did her OW with them and I was impressed at how they taught her.

I'd also recommend:
Chesapeake Bay Diving Center
655 Mt. Vernon Avenue
Portsmouth, VA 23707
SSI and TDI
http://www.chesapeakebaydiving.com/

My wife recertified through them and I'm about to do my Nitrox and Rescue cert. The instructors are good. They also have a dive club called "Club Aquarius."

Just a recommendation as well...some shops which have been mentioned don't have such great reputations. Are all shops in the area going to be included or is it going to work on a recommendation principle? I know that I would recommend no one go near Scuba Hut in Glen Burnie, MD (details available on request).

Yeah, Scuba Hut is an abomination.

Just out of curiosity... who is paying for/hosting the site?

I am so glad to here more people say that! The nicest phrase I've ever heard used to describe the owner is "A real piece of work."

Dive Quarters IN VA Beach doesn't have the same problem of the charismatic *sic* management. But I've met several people less than happy with their instruction. Again details available on request.
