I know someone who has dove the wreck by the bouy. I think he said it's right were the bouy by the sholls anchors. I'll check and find out!!

That would be great, I have made several dives on the buoy and many hours driving around with the fish finder looking for anything and so far found nothing. I had someone give me directions from shore, using an old chimney, but can't find that either..... any way, its an excuse to get out and look

now do i do full cave?
or trimix? ( then i can do all those DEEP erie wrecks)

i am finishing adv wreck in newfoundland in aug

hmmmm so many options

i think trimix wins ( this spring early summ), the full cave i will leave for next winter:D:D.

Depends! The warmth of the St Lawrence in August and September is Great!!
The Jodery is a great place to do Trimix Training Dives. Your valve drills will be easier with warm water gloves.

But sometimes you gotta get cold in Erie to see it's awesome wrecks!!

Hey DT!! No drysuit yet. I won't be going to doubles.... I'll go to a rebreather!! Got a trainer all lined up, but I'm not doing it for a few years. But just ask my usual buddy,I don't need doubles. I'm good at almost going ito deco on an al80!

Are you going to join us this summer??? The Pete is calling!

The Pete is calling, the Pete is Calling, The Pete Is Calling, THE PETE IS CALLING,THE PETE IS CALLING

I have my 130's and they work great for the St. Pete. Throw some helium in them and they work even better :) . What do you run for deco gas?

PS I am from Heather's school. I plan to take CCR training from the same person as Heather. Unlike many of my "techie" buddies. I won't own six or seven sets of doubles. I own my two sets and the next set of double tanks that I buy will be small enough to fit a CCR. And yes, Heather's air consumption is good enough to make me jealous :) . She does just fine with an eighty.

I'd do the rebreather thing................. If I could only win the lottery!!

Until then I have 2 sets of doubles and 2 singles, along with deco and argon bottles.
hmmmmmmm.......do you think I could sell them all and come up with enough for a 'breather?? :D
