170 blue hole Guam
 
200' on the wall at Lake Jocassee. Vis was great at depth, well past 30'. A great dive, saw a few fish, and oddly a barbecue grill at 175'!
 
5 feet when kayak rolled sideways into strainer. I.7 fcubic feet Spair Air but did not get narced.

You are supposed to avoid strainers!
 
Until the shyte hits the fan... which admittedly it may very well never do...

I'm curious, do you carry a spare tire for your car?
Do you carry a spare gas tank in your back seat? A spare tire is more like a backup buoyancy device such as a drysuit or liftbag. A gas can would be more like a pony bottle.
Most of us watch our fuel guage in the same way we watch our spg. I've never run out of gas above water or below.
 
190 FFW with 18/45 in my doubles, an 80 of 50% and a 40 with 100%.
 
175 feet, off orange county california, double 112's with a slung 40. best dive I have had. if your not pushing your limits then you are not diving!
