Diving trip to Sipadan in late November early December

Tail end of monsoons can affect Sipadan and Mabul. I stayed a few time on Mabul, DM's were generally very friendly and helpful when off-dive, and duriing a dive they were attentive of their groups, had good eyes for spotting interesting things, and were SAFE! Usually it is 1 DM per group - 6 - 12 divers, but sometimes we had 2 or 3 DM's if there was a training group with us. Of my 8 days diving, 3 days there were just 6 of us (3 dives per day). We splashed out and stayed at Mabul Water Bungalows the last time - really excellent. Otherwise the other accomodation is still fine. The resorts often borrow kit and lend kit so all are about the same in terms of quality. Anyone who has stayed in teh village has always said in hindsight they would have preferred the resorts
