I burned a hole in the tubing that now holds my shears, like this: PHOTO

Yup, did it to my bc. Installed stainless snaps to stabilize
my weight pockets. Works great!

Yeah, attached to bungee loop in drysuit pocket, like this photo HERE, which gives away another one of my burn holes!

That picture is from the GUE web site. I'm copying it. I've got the shears in the Mo2-holder, the spool, and a dbl ender on the loop. Wetnotes (also courtesy of Mo2) loose in the pocket.
 
Not to say that I enjoy it but I have a special soldering iron for melting holes in plastic items or for welding plastic.

Usually I do the work outside. :D
