As my original intro was lost due to scubaboard technical problems I am reposting my introduction. Thx to those who replied to my original intro-and thx to scubaboard for providing this resource. Scububa and Skull I hope to dive with you guys soon!!
Basically I am interested in meeting up with people who dive locally-most of my diving has been vacation diving. I want to dive as much as possible this summer and I'm not picky about where I do it. Limited vis and cold water? Sounds great! Cave and tricky wreck penetration? Not so much until I am schooled. I'm quite interested in river diving (especially along the bluffs of the meremac) and I'm planning to go to the Y-KiKi Dive Shop annual Current River Float on Aug 11 and Charlevoix Michigan soon thereafter. (http://www.y-kiki.com/pdfs/Current_River_Float_Flier.pdf) I'm psyched to dive table rock, norfolk, bagnell, offsets, roubidoux and all the other local hotspots so just let me know when & where!
