Greetings everyone!
I'm new to this website and new to diving - so I would appreciate some expert advice. I know that Indonesia is one of the best places on Earth to dive in, at least as far as coral and fish diversity is concerned, which is why I intend get my PADI certificate there this year. But I am a little confused as to what would be the best location to do this. Am I right in thinking that Manado or Bali are good, but not so pristine anymore, and that, while Raja Ampat is pristine, it is not adequate for absolute beginners? Is there a place in Indonesia that is unspoilt (healthy and prolific hard and soft coral reefs) and a good place to learn to dive, both at the same time? Many thanks.
