Hi,

I'm James. A couple of years ago I had my arm twisted into going beneath the waves and now firmly believe - as our Open Water Instructor said - "The biggest mistake mankind ever made was learning to walk on land."

Have completed my Advanced since but only get chance to dive each Summer when away on holidays (so far to Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia) having racked up 20 dives to date.

I'm also a writer - boring stuff for job and fiction for a hobby - interested in the life of professional divers i.e. those who've done all the training and now have the great job of teaching/accompanying amateurs like me so if you want to share your experiences training/living the dive life particularly out in the tropics feel free to get in touch :)

howdy and welcome from south Florida.......
