Hollywood scuba diver rushed to hospital dies

POMPANO BEACH
A female scuba diver died Monday after she was found unconscious about 116 feet under water and rushed to the hospital, authorities said.
Robyn Spalter, 49, of Hollywood, died shortly before 9 a.m., Veda Coleman-Wright, a spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
U.S. Coast Guard for help at about 8:20 a.m., Coleman-Wright said.
BSO's marine unit escorted the boat to Hillsboro Inlet where Pompano Beach Fire-Rescue then took over transporting Spalter to Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach, Coleman-Wright said.
The death is under investigation.
