thank you, ScubaTexan, Natasha, and Cave Diver for the reports. very moving.

this is a piece of a poem i wrote a while back. i would like to
    dedicate to Rob:

    Is your voice gone?
It will not speak again, no.
It is as silent as the blooming of roses,
the germination of an egg; as silent
as a mother waking in the cold
to heat the house for her children,
or a father eating less than full
    so others may.

    Your voice is silent.
    It has left our shores.
    It is beyond the reach
    of our every art.

    But is it gone?
    Not as long
    as those who knew you
    live.

Thanks so much for the pictures, Natasha.
Glad to see they displayed the pictures Janwillem Bech, the Readeys and I send.
    We couldn't be there.

You're so very welcome Wet willie, Andy, and Caveseeker..

We spent time talking to the family, as we all arrived 40 minutes before the service started. They were more then happy to have us take pictures and also let Ken record the service.

Rob has a wondeful family...we made sure they knew we were representing the thousands that loved him, here at ScubaBoard.

On a side note: High Flight was the short essay that President Reagan recited in his announcement of the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion.

Not yet. We don't know what is going on. The only thing I can summize is that the Egyptians are doing their own investigation.
