I probably won't have a camera rigged up by then :/ but you guys have fun.

I'm hearing Morrisons, Cypress Springs, Vortex and jetties and making a weekend out of it and camping or getting a room. March 17th & 18th have been thrown out? How are these dates? Who wants to do what and when?

The dates sound good to me. As far as location I'm up for anything, count me in!

My options for weekend diving in March just took a hit. I am having out of town guests all weekend March 3rd and 4th. My son Josh's birthday is Saturday, March 10th, but I could dive one day that weekend, and I got an invitation in the mail today for a wedding on Saturday March 17th that I have to attend. It looks like the only weekend I will be able to dive on both Saturday and Sunday will be March 24th and 25th, if we are going to have a 2 day dive n dine in March.

If some of you want to still do it March 17th and 18th that is fine, I will try to come on the 18th.

For you guys and gals that don't like to read through longggggggggggggg posts searching for clues :search: as to where we are and what we are doing, I started a new one for our March 2007 Panhandle Dive n Dine...so start talking...don't make me beat it out of you:bash:.....when and where are we going??

denisegg:
Oriskany Divemaster (Eric) says that March 18th is looking good for him for a trip to the O. For those interested the trip would cost $150.00 each min 4 max 6.

How are plans on this coming Eric? Are you ready to start a thread on this and see if we can get 4 to 6 people? You are still going to cook aren't you?:D

Local Diving Update:

There will be plenty of other diving going on that weekend if you are not interested in the O trip

Memorial Day Weekend to the Keys is making final arrangements this week if you are interested in that trip

Wow, it is the end of March already. It is really getting to be the time of year to get excited about Gulf diving. I have already had an opportunity to do a couple myself. I know there will be alot of diving going on during the month of April and we'll all be keeping a watch for the threads that are being posted to try to jump in there and go when we can, but maybe we could still try to plan one day where as many of us as possible can get together and dive and dine. I really enjoyed this past weekend. I think everyone had a great time! So far, I have seen one thread that looks promising:

Donna has proposed an Earth Day Dive Clean Up which would be the weekend of April 21st and 22nd. All you boat owners who are willing to take your boats out and all you divers who are interested in participating pop over there and post and lets see what we can get going:

Also, if anyone else has some ideas about what we can get together and do, throw those ideas out as well.

Also, I have been asked about our "Local Dive Group" and our monthly "Dive n Dine" get togethers. Let me say again this is for everyone. There is no official "membership" or "enrollment". You don't have to put your name on a list. It is for anyone in the Dixie Diver's area and North Florida area who can come out and participate in any event. It is also for out-of-town Scubaboarders who are in our area and would like to participate.:)

I for one think it has been a great success. We have met some great people, great friends and great divers. :) :)
