    Hello from the Houston/Galveston area!

First and foremost, as a former paramedic and volunteer firefighter, I say THANK YOU for going even more than that extra mile. My hat is off to y'all and and you have my complete respect and admiration.

I am a board member of our dive club, Bay Area Divers. We are always looking for speakers at our monthly general member meetings. These meetings are on the last Wednesday of each month, starting at 7:30 pm, in Webster.

I tried calling some local agencies, but have had a hard time getting to speak to a "live" person.

If there are any public safety divers in the Houston area that would like to tell us about their work, our club would be most appreciative. We will even buy your dinner. Please PM me, or send me an e-mail to: communications@bayareadivers.org and I'll provide more details.

    Thanks in advance,

    Patrick "Lefty Writer" Newman
