Mares Plana Power fin sizing

I've used Avanti Quattro fins for ages, as well as trying every other brand of tech fin but always going back to my Quattros. I now want to get some Power Planas but the sizing info seems different. I am a US12-13 and the XL Quattros fit me perfectly. Can I expect the foot pocket of the XL Power Plana to be the same size as the Quattro, or are they different between models as the sizing charts seem to indicate?

i am a US (canada) 7-8 shoe size
i have a bare drysuit with soft socks and wear bare trek boots
i wear a size R power plana and they fit perfect
i had the shop try a size 8 trek boot in the fin before ordering
i also used this size chart

Sizing is at best an approximation. I have Small Quattros and small Power Planas, the Power Planas have a more generous foot pocket.

Not by a huge amount, but bigger nonetheless.
