Hello everyone... I am looking for a perfect honeymoon suggestion for diving in the eastern hemisphere. We aren't rich, but we can spend a few $$ on our honeymoon, so suggest away or ask questions as you need information.

Thanks,
Christopher

Alcina... i really enjoyed Yap but for the effort in getting there, i would prefer to check out Palau next time for the fishlife

South Pacific?? Niue, Vanuatu, PNG or the Solomons???

Time of year? Duration? Budget? Type of diving? Big or little creatures? Vis important?

I'm excited coz I'm in travel plan mode now for myself LOL

Bali is a great destination and an incredibly beautifull island if you are on a budget, I would avoid the resorts though. you can rent yourself a lovely bungalow right on the beach for very little money. The "Lonely planet" book on Bali and where to stay is an excellent resource. The Phi Phi islands/Phuket/Krabi Samui area in eastern Thailand is a great place to stay and dive as well.

Yo can find confortable bungalow on the beach for $15 TO $50 a day, and food is very cheap and very good. A good suggestion is to go on the cheap for most of you stay and then for the last couple of days, reserve a room in one of those gorgeous five stars palace but don't tell your wife about it. It will be a nice surprise and a nice way to finish it up...
