Nekkid diving in the Philippines is one thing. Here in the much cooler, temperate waters of Catalina, the shrinkage factor would be highly detrimental to our reputations and male egos (but at least things do look bigger underwater).

Only those with short "fuses" join the 30-meter club. Most of us prefer the 6-fathom (30 feet) club since it gives sufficient time to complete the task properly.

And nekkid is naked where I come from...
 
Seriously - I am good in a pair of board shorts down to about 25-26 degrees C for a 50 minutes dive.

Ascending through a thermocline into 30 degrees C is kind of like drifting into a pool of warm urine though...
