My arrangements have shifted from Dec 28-Jan5 to Dec 29-Jan 5. Nights from Dec 30 on are good for me.

Will be down with hubs and stepdaughter Dec 27-Jan 3, Dive with Martin, staying at our Casa Galleta. Sadly, we will only be diving a few days since the poor kid did not have a ton of success trying to dive over the summer. Guess that means I'll be forced to spend more time with the three B's: beach, beer, and books. Woe is me!

Hey All,

This thread seems to be a great place to ask this. My wife and I are planning on eating out for Christmas, and looking for something kind of "fancy".

If you were going to take your other half out for a more formal, fancy dinner, which place comes to mind? I want to call ahead and make a reservation...

I've been writing down all the names of restaurants everyone has been mentioning, and plan to hit up as many as possible. (When last there in 1993, there weren't as many choices! I sure wish I could remember the name of the seafood resto we ate at, and the jazz bar we visited that trip!)

PS: For anyone keeping score, I finally chose diving with "Scuba Life Cozumel". I was very impressed by the interactions I had with them by email & got a good vibe. Also, any reviews on them were 100% positive.
I'll be sure to report back when we get home.

This Thanksgiving he told me that missing that trip is his greatest disappointment in his life. We are going to be there Dec 22-28th. He is 28 now. Staying at the same hotel, Blue Angel!

Did his poor choice justify a consequence that he's still feeling 13 years (and counting) later?

My parents meted out similar consequences that I'm bitter about and hate them for 45+ years later, even after Mom's been dead 17 years, and Dad not quite a year.

They were too proud and self righteous to ever revisit their mistakes.
