I heard that only about 20% of people in the US have a passport. That got me to wondering:

1) Nationality.
2) Do you have a passport? If yes, how long? If no, why not?
3) Countries you have lived in or visited.

My stuff:
1) Canadian.
2) Yes. About 20 yrs.
3) England, Ireland, Germany, Egypt, US, various countries in the Caribbean including Cuba, Bonaire, the Bahamas, and Jamaica.

3) Canada, Mexico, Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Caymans, Turks & Caicos, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St.Martin, Honduras, Belize, Martinique, Conch Republic (hee,hee), France, Switzerland, Germany, Luxemburg, Lichtenstein, Italy.

2.) Yes, since 1998(?)
3.) Mexico, Puerto Rica, Virgin Islands, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Isreal, Egypt, Somalia, Kenya, Tunisia, and Morocco.

PS: Most of these were at Uncle Sam's invitation and didn't need a passport.

2) Yes, 4 years (primarily because of diving)

3) Lived in or visited:
U.S. (dove),
Canada (dove),
Cayman Islands (dove),
Mexico (not dove)

I would be curious to know if a larger percentage of the dive population has passports vs non-divers...

3. Great Britain, Mexico, Aruba, Curacao, Tortola, Grand Cayman and Bahamas.
4. In 2003, Roatan and Belize will be added.

3. Ireland, Israel. In 2003 will add Bonaire, maybe something else. In a past life (read "too young to have a passport) - Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan.
