I find standard golf gloves/batting gloves (leather) easy enough for picking up small items and dodging the stray urchin or other stinging object. I doubt they would work as well for a hook like I snipped out of Walter's hand

I wear a set of gloves made by Deep Sea. I think there called barnacle gloves or something. They have little pieces of silicone on the fingertips that makes picking up even small teeth very easy. I can't imagine not wearing gloves while digging around down there.

Is every one still interested in going I have gotten my room and am set to go just need to make sure some folks are going to come out there

As of right now, I'm still a maybe. I went out on Saturday & viz wasn't very good. From what I understand, we are due for a least one more front this weekend. We'll just have to wait & see how the weather plays out next week.

If I'm healthy by then, I'm in. I'm fighting a URI, and for the moment, it's winning!

I will be heading to north florida for fossil diving.

So no one is comming so could anyone give me some specific direction on where to go how far to go out.I would ask for some really good directions since I will most likely do this dive alone.

I must have missed a post somewhere, when are you thinking of going out?
