hi guys thanks for helping out for my last few threads..

i was wondering..which regulator i should get for a beginner but yet not so cheap something tat can go at least 30 metres..

any recommandations?

The Sea elite RX650 is a dynamite Reg for a good price. Also you could get and Edge Hog reg for a decent price....they are tech regs at rec prices.

What is available in Singapore? What can be serviced there? A Sea Elite or HOG reg might be uncommon in your location. You may want to stick with big brands with good distribution and service network in Singapore? Scubepro, Atomic, Aqua Lung, etc.?

yeah there're not avalible here...
here in singapore theres only.
1. scuba pro
2. apeks
3. cressi
4. sherwood
5. atomic

It would be very difficult, at least in the US and Europe, to find any primary regulator on the market that can’t be used at least to 60 Meteres/198'. There are quite a number unbalanced first and second stage regulators available that get quite good ratings on European and US Navy tests.

How, or by who, is it "ranged" to 21 Meters/69'? I have never seen any manufacturer with such shallow limits.

apeks XTX 20. i'm surprised to..it says 18 to 21 metres..
Apeks XTX20 is a great regulator, a workhorse made for the beginner
scroll down..it says

This regulator will perform well in standard leisure dives in water above 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius) and at depths of 60-70 fsw (feet saltwater) (18-21 meters).
That’s not to say that this regulator can’t handle harsher conditions. It can.

i just want to know what will happen if i go over the 21 metre mark...it would still work definitely, but what will happen?
