Hi all,
Setting the Hook was in about the top 5% of all entrants to the New York Book Festival (not to be confused with the New York Book Fair, which is a much bigger deal) to be awarded an Honorable mention. The festival is open to independently published books and looks for:
There were about 5,000 entrants in multiple categories. Setting the Hook received the award for the General, Non-fiction category. The actual awards will be handed out at the Grolier Club in NY City later in the month, but I will not be able to attend.

Sorry if this comes across as self-serving, but I am pleased with the recognition, and frankly, I believe in the book's message and want others to experience it as well.

- The potential of the work to win wider recognition.
