Ah...phishing....fairybasslet:What is so hard about hitting the delete button anyway? Geeze. I got one today from some "company" telling me that someone in Bulgaria tried to use my VISA card and I'd better "follow the link" to authenticate my actual existance. Did I call Interpol?

I didn't know what particular card (if any) they were talking about, and I wasn't going to open it up to find out. But I guess that's a good idea to forward those things.Kim:Ah...phishing....
When I get those I usually just forward them to the CC company or Ebay or whoever it is. It gives their anti-fraud people work to do and who knows...it might actually stop some of it as well.
Come to think of it I didn't receive one of those for quite a while now....hmmmm....maybe it worked!
Well, I know that those two emails in a yr really got me freaked out. Next thing you know, I will be getting email for Viagra...scubautah:The actions of scubaboard do not support your words. If the privacy of the members was a priority over the commercial advertising dollars, there would have never been a box to check if you did not want advertising. In fact, it would have always been the other way around.
