Replacing these items in a G250 almost always guarantees perfect functioning.
Sometimes original lever works, sometimes not but with OG lever I can never be sure it hasn't been bent, I have seen springs obviously stretched out I assume in someone's attempt to get the reg to play nice.
Long balance chamber or short both work, OG short nets slightly lower cracking it seems, and sometimes long BC (30%) creates the dreaded spring creak/click when using adj knob.

Springs seem to be the biggest variable, it pays to have a few on hand if you're doing this conversion. I've noticed differences between new springs. I usually have some .218 springs on hand too.
