Remember there are people interested that don't live in Florida - I'd like to take a look too.

Maybe a SB member area to watch online somewhere?

We will work on creative distribution. The plan right now is film festivals, and a distribution deal for broadcast. There is a Canadian connection. Our company is headed by Jill Heinerth, who is Canadian, and we are editing it in Toronto.
Thanks!

Depending on the release date, airing it at Vortex Springs during Spring Fest or Vortoberfest would be kinda cool.
Yeah, a big screen viewing at night before Karaoke. Awesome Idea!

I just found this link. There are a few discrepancies. For one the lost diver is described as a "cave diver". Also is it for sure that the lost diver was given a key?

(I am moving the link to a new post "Search continues one year later" )

Hello ScubaBoard! As some of you know, we are producing an investigative documentary about the strange disappearance of Ben McDaniel, while on a scuba dive at Vortex Spring, in north Florida. He was last seen entering the cave at about 7pm on a Wednesday evening, and has not been heard from since. Rescue and recovery divers, (many of whom are ScubaBoard members) found no trace of Ben in the cave. Over 40 of the world’s top technical cave divers have searched, for almost a year, and cannot find any sign of Ben. Yet, some people insist his body is in that cave! Others, including some who knew him, suggest other theories. Was it an accident? Did Ben pull a hoax, and has started a new life somewhere far away? Or could it be something more sinister?

This journalistic documentary film, by acclaimed underwater videographer Jill Heinerth, is now in post-production and will be released in 2012. The title is "Ben's Vortex."
