I probally should have tried it out before i said that (I havent used the release on my zeagle). I havent had any accidental weight loss with my bp/w weight pockets yet.
Which BC should I buy?

This type of release is used in parachute equipment to jettison a malfunctioning main parachute. They have saved my life twice in skydiving and I would trust them to perform for this purpose as well.
