H2Andy:spit on each side of the mask, rub it in. then rinse it JUST ONCE, and wear.

That's what I've done. I've tried it many many times over 20 years. No effect. I guess I have defective spit. :11:

No worries, just remember sometimes "spit happens" and sometimes it doesn't.radinator:That's what I've done. I've tried it many many times over 20 years. No effect. I guess I have defective spit. :11:
H2Andy:what i've learned so far:
1. some spit works, some spit doesn't
2. if yours doesn't, get a friend whose spit works to spit for you
3. don't rinse-spit-rinse; rather, spit-rinse and go
jepuskar:Protein layer heh? I'm not even going there.....
Gac:I've noticed that the effectiveness of spit depends greatly on what I've had to eat or drink recently.
DavidHickey:Just wondering has anyone tried Rain X that they sell for car windows?
Walter:It's not. At best, it's a poor substitute.
