Google has failed me....

Seems I remember seeing a Wood Box "fixture" produced by one of the major reg manufacturers. Just for clarity, it was sort of a wood box that the 1st stage fit in to hold it securely while you would remove or assemble during a service.

Does anyone have any more information on this? Maybe pics or dimensions? I rigged up a very crude version just screwing a couple scraps of wood to a piece of plywood, but I would really like to either source this box, or just make a nice one for my own use.

Regulator service box.

Here you go.
Please make two and send me one. :)

In my original post: I already have a crude "5 Minute" version made from a couple 2x4s. I want to make a nice one out of oak that does not look like crap.

We look forward to reading about it!

urethane bench vise jaws

Probably a good idea for some. however, I am using a Harbor Freight 'woodworking' bench that has an integral soft wood vice. I will either use that, or put dowel pins in the base that will lock it into place for use.
