Hey guys,
im new to the forum and new to the camera.
received the camera like 3 days before this shoot.
so still learning.

Im not going to be diving for another 1 month.
that gives me time to buy a strobe and arm set.
got a bargain from a local forum selling D2000 at S2000 price!
cant wait to try it.

let me comment a little on my experience with the camera and housing.

1st of all the housing looks nice.
i like the way that Oly makes their housing smaller although i know it is a small camera indeed, but i used my uncle's sp560uz before and the housing is humongous. There's like ton of spaces inside that is wasted.

the controls, i really like the use of lens dial. it makes use of "unused" left hand.
however it felt a little bit stiff but maybe that's just me. however the shutter dial works tremendously almost like you are holding the xz1 itself.

about the settings, underwater wb is great. but i experienced some color fringing on some photos. maybe its the 1.8. Any advice for this is welcome. :idk:

thanx and enjoy the set

Are you using any wet lenses? I'm particularly interested in how that works out.

no
not yet that is
in the beginning i include a wet lens to my budget and plan.
now im focusing on a good arms and tray for the housing to go with a D2000.
maybe if i have some budget leftovers i might invest in one.

im interested in macro.
probably will buy a closeup lens.
since in supermacro mode u cant fire the flash.
