Better Diving in Grenada or Carriacou?

Hi, I have dived in both although it was 5 years ago. I would say that there is more variety in Grenada and more dive sites. I remember them both having quite a lot of fish and the occasional turtle. Carriacou is pretty small there is not much in the way night life, Grenada is bigger and you...

Watch out for Divers Down / Cayman Diving College

Hi Zephrant, If that had hapened to me I would be extremly annoyed. It only takes one problem to take away valuable dive time during a holiday. Having said that I have used divers down on two different trips and both times were great, different times , different experiences ! cheers Doug

    Grand Cayman Dive Ops

Hi, I have used divers down twice and I was very happy with them. Not the cheapest but they limit the boats to 8 divers and try to avoid sites in use by other dives ops. The north wall is much better diving but it depends on the weather if they can go out there. Cheers Doug

St. Lucia and Dominica Dive Ops

Hi, I was at castle comfort lodge and went diving with Dive Dominica in 2004. I had a great week. The accomodation at castle comfort is basic but clean. St Maartin, Nevis, St Kitts, St Barts, Anguila, Antigua?

Hi, I thought the underwater scenary was not so good in Antigua, the reef was not as good as the other two and there were less fish. For the record I did 2 dives in Antigua 2004, 2 in Nevis (2005) and 6 or 8 in St Kitts (2005). Antigua has some good stuff to see on land, English Harbour...

Young Island & Bequia Island Diving

Hi, I also dove with Dive St Vincent and had a great time. I also did a few dives in Bequia. I preferred St Vincent and Bequia to Grand Cayman, more relaxed and so less like home, better scenary. However to me the diving does not compare, Grand Cayman is much better. regards Doug

St Maartin, Nevis, St Kitts, St Barts, Anguila, Antigua?

Hi, I have dived in Antigua, St Kitts and Nevis. Of the three I would not bother with Antigua again. I would dive the other two again. However a trip round St Kitts and a visit to a plantation house would also be really good, a hard choice if you only have one day. Cheers Doug
