Help me name MY New Boat

I think you should call it OVER 9000, as per the catchphrase/meme on the Internet. You could also call it "Clever Name". Just to be clever.

    Key Largo This Week

Had a good time diving with Scuba Do. I found them to be a very professional operation. No cattle boats there.

    Key Largo Dive Reports!

I made a total of 12 dives when I was in Key Largo a few weeks ago aboard the boat Scuba-Do, which I highly recommend. I'm just now getting around to writing about them! We dove the reefs most of the time, but some of them were particularly significant. On my first dive, we wiggled out...

    Key Largo bound.

Looking forward to doing Navarre and Pensacola again some weekend this year, now that I have a working wrist, jellyfish or not -- or one of the springs! I read your update about the Black Bart and missing the resident bull shark. I've heard it's a female and cruises around between the Bart...

    Key Largo bound.

Just thought I'd ring in here to tell all of you up here with me in North Florida that I'll be heading to the Keys to do some diving in Key Largo and possibly a day in Key West. This'll be my first time going to the Keys, either on the surface or underwater, so hopefully I'll have some photos...

Panama City This summer-Where to dive

The Navarre beach pier is a pretty sweet dive -- went there with sUprBugMaN and his friend last year after my car accident and hope to do it again this year sometime now that I'm fully recovered. However, you might find the stinging nettles like we did. I don't dislike diving the Stages...

    Brrr...

With all this talk about global warming lately, you'd think it'd be a bit warmer out. Oh well, at least if the polar icecaps melt, that means the oceans will rise, and there'll be more dive sites. Just think how many opportunities we'll have if the world ends up like that old film Waterworld.

    Brrr...

When's it gonna warm up around here? I've got a mind to go down and do The Living Seas at Disney just to keep in practice. I'm still around, by the way, just haven't gotten any dives in yet.

    Scuba Board GOSSIP

I was going to dive on a wreck in the Gulf yesterday, but I only had my 3/2 and I vastly misjudged the temperature of the water. This wreck in particular I know to have a rather nasty thermocline. Also, I would have had to dive solo. I didn't fancy my chances, so after suiting up and jumping in...

    Playstation 3's for sale!!!

I saw one go on ebay for $15,000. FIFTEEN. THOUSAND. DOLLARS. From a buyer in the UK. If any of you want to finance that dream set of dive gear, here you go. I'll be buying a Wii, fyi.

Back by popular demand - Diving in the Panhandle! 11/18 & 11/19!!

So I've got double steel 80 airs for the weekend courtesy of my dive club. I just need to know where the action's going to be in the Panhandle. I've only got a 3/2 wetsuit and no hood, unfortunately. Don't know if that's sufficient for Morrison or what have you, because I haven't done that yet...

Dive Report - The Living Seas at Epcot

I have heard that Disney is a really professional group -- I've always loved living in Florida. Now that I dive, and now that I know that the money is more of a "donation" than a fee, I definitely want to experience this. Thanks for an awesome report. Regarding sand tigers, I've heard that they...

    Concerned about regulator care.

I have a very nice Apeks XTX200 regulator. However, being the paranoiac I am, and considering that I'm dealing with a life support system here, I get nervous about how I'm storing my regulators. I keep them indoors in a dry, air conditioned (or heated depending on the season) room. I keep the...

Comment by 'KansaiKitsune' in media 'Dolphins on the Acokeek 3'

These fellows came up to me during a surface interval, made a number of close passes, and ranged me. Shot with a crappy Kodak disposable at a depth of 15'.

    looking for PC shipwreck map/chart

There's a remarkable number off of Mexico Beach. Is that a common area for artificial reefs/scuttlings, or was there some nav hazard there that resulted in a bunch of wrecks?

Are all regulators made in Italy, or co from Italy?

I dive an Apeks, and it is manufactured and assembled in Merry Auld England, UK.
