Just curious about how many people dive with a backup mask? And just to be clear, I don't with you in your gear bag, I mean with you underwater.

Depends on the water conditions, number of people in the water or if it is a deep dive.

For recreational dives, most of the time. If I'm teaching, or doing a tech dive ... always.

I dive with a full face mask and I carry the back up in my left rear bc pocket

Thats like me (except the teaching part). I'm 50/50 for rec dives and always for tech dives.NWGratefulDiver:
(50/50 on rec dives because a beer can replaces the mask. easy way to keep the beer cold as you dive.

Where do you all keep the mask? One poster mentioned their drysuit pocket. The pockets of my weight integrated BC couldn't hold a pencil Do people use clip-on pouches?

Rarely.
I debate on the hassle of carrying vs the PIA of finishing the dive without it.

Doh, forgot to include that I dive wet, so don't have a drysuit pocket to use. What other options are there? Any recommended clip on pockets/pouches for masks?
