My e mail to them had only unsubscribe in the subject, no text what so ever in the e mail body, just the subject bar at the top.

what the hell does this e mail mean

Try sending the message as plain text and not html. If you are using Outlook Express: goto the Tools/options menu...Send Tab There will be a setting for the format of the email.

If you are using a different email client, just check the "options" area.
