How to be a good buddy

Another point is picking a compatable buddy.

If you are sightseeing and trying to make friends with the sea life you don't want a spearfisher as a buddy.

People who want to swim are better with people who want to swim. People who stay in one spot for a whole dive are better together.

You can sucessfully buddy with someone who has a different style but will probably need to agree to dive one style on one dive and the other style on the next.

I learn as much diving with new divers as I do diving with old salts.

BTW I have only been diving for 25 years.:D

There is something to learn, something to enjoy and something wonderful in *every* dive. Enjoy every dive.
