Palau diving in Dec - but based on shore?

Seeing that you are in HK, FYI Diving Express has 4 groups going to Palau by chartered direct flight during X'mas, New Year and Chinese New Year. If you are going to be land-based, then you might want to check out the packages, otherwise I'm sure DE would be happy to sell you seats on their chartered flights.

If you like history, you might try to find a book written by Dan Bailey entitled WW II Wrecks of Palau. It tells all about what went on there during the war and about many of the dive sites. I bought it when I was on Palau, but you may be able to find it online.
Also, if you like this sort of diving, be sure to consider Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon. That was the site of Operation Hailstorm and many, many Japanese ships were sunk there. Unfortunately, only three warships were amongst the casualties, but the diving is very interesting.
joewr...watch here for continuing monologs about the Pacific Islands...including those in San Francisco Bay...well, it is sorta the Pacific....

Sorry to hear Sea Passion is booked, I've been to Palau twice and going back again. The Sea Passion and Sam's Tour is great. The Rose Garden and Plaza West are good options see below.
