I took a couple of pictures while gearing up for a dive yesterday. Thought they might help.

No bungee over the top of the light? How you gonna thumb grab with the right hand? :D Gotta say that since changing lights and getting rid of the tied-on bolt snap I'm much happier. Oh and retaining screw on the left side is nice too. And I thought you were in the "cord-under-long-hose" crowd.

Nope - light cord has been over my long hose since the start.

Bought the light used. It came with a bungee on top. Never used it, so took it off & don't miss it.

I'm a hybrid -- I like the bungie over the top for a thumb hold, and see little or no downside to it; but I tried the double-ender from the butt of the light to the bungie and found it unmanageably clumsy in cold water, with the remote ballast lights (which are shorter), so I went back to the tied-on boltsnap and the o-ring on the butt.

I hybrided the double ender in that I have a loop at the butt and use the double ender to attach it to my right d-ring where it says when the light is in my hand. Not ideal as I can't one hand it, but there is plenty I can't one hand yet :D

I have the dexterity to do the double ender always attached thing but it makes that ring too cluttered for me. But I am so happy to have the clip off the light. Nothing like waving the light to get attention and having that clip banging around on the light.

I also tried clipping the double ender through both loops. But in dry gloves it seemed more hassle to clip/unclip from the chest D ring than it was worth.

I like the single ender, easy to find, easy to clip. Thumb keeps it from "banging" when getting attention.
