What are the issues with diving after a hernia repair

The repair was several years ago at this point. I am as recovered at this point, will do dead lifts in the gym etc. My concern was the pressures at depth, but not a problem from what I have heard and read...

Doctorfish: one was a multiple repair, the last being successful...
