    Question Edmund Fitzgerald

I was wondering if the Edmund Fitzgerald had ever been visited by anyone using scuba? And if so does anyone have info on the dive?

    I'm Back

This isn't the article I read before.
This one says one has been there on scuba.
But, others have been there using "special" equipment

    The Fitz

Terrence Tysall and Mike Zee dove the Fitz in 1995. They upset some people but didn't end up in jail. Do a search on scuba board as we have discussed this before all the links will be on the previous messages.

    Just curious....

but I was under the impression that diving was prohibited on the Fitz.

I know I should have searched but I'm off to bed in a couple of minutes.

    yep

Their dive is what caused it to be illegal to dive the Fitz

530' is done on a fairly regular basis. I think it has more to do with treating it as a grave site. It didn't go down all that long ago and there are many living kin of the crew who went down with her.
